Speaker: Prof. Jean-Rene Morice, University of Angers
After studying geography at the University of Angers, Jean-René Morice began a thesis in geography on “Rural castles and tourist accommodation in Western France”, research that he is carrying out in parallel with a position as project manager at the Pays de la Loire Regional Tourism Committee (1997-2003). In 2003, he became a lecturer at UFR Esthua and then became responsible for international relations three years later. Until 2012, he consolidated and established the position of the University of Angers in Asia (China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Cambodia). He became Vice-President of the University of Angers in charge of Culture and Initiatives as well as Communication and kept, in parallel, the direction of the Culture department of the UFR Esthua.
